SOT GLASS

Ana Shametaj and Giuditta Vendrame’s “Sot Glas” project is a sensitively arranged physical and linguistic labyrinth. Beginning in the Wundergarten on Graz’s Schlossberg, it continues in the Stallbastei, moving from impressions of dreamlike weightlessness with a view of the city lights to a warm, humming space that allows individual identity to recede and collective experience to come to the fore. The sound and light installation was first realized at the 18th Architecture Biennale in Venice. For KLANGLICHT 2024, the artists have added lullabies in different languages to previously researched peace, war, migration and children’s songs.

A project as a guest at the Graz Museum Schlossberg.
