FLORA
Abstract lines come together to form complex and at the same time very aesthetic shapes, which sometimes appear in curved harmony, at other times in angular chaos – these are the impressions that the interactive installation “FLORA” is able to create. The appearances are never the same, as they are controlled and designed by the viewers themselves using a touchpad. The underlying algorithm uses overlapping sine waves to create an animation that resembles our personal dreamscapes. Just as the inner images we encounter in our sleep differ, “FLORA” also brings out the personality of the interacting persons through the translation of individual interaction: from hesitant to wild, even reckless, from round and organic to angular and abstract.
