EINDER / surface
It is the imaginary border between heaven and earth that the old Dutch word “Einder” describes. At the same time, the term is also a metaphor for the border between reality and fantasy, the transition between the real and the subconscious, as marked by dreams. With his audiovisual installation, Boris Acket creates an oversized, moving, luminous wave that brings to life a wide variety of associations, thoughts, feelings and memories in the viewer. The poetic work is accompanied by a soundscape in which synthetic and organic sounds overlap. As a complete work of art, “Einder” is an invitation to enter into a dialog with oneself, one’s own illusion, but also the impressions of others.
