DATA THAT WE PROCESS DURING YOUR VISIT

Purpose, type and scope of processing
Your data will only be processed for the stated purpose and will not be passed on to third parties. The only exception to this is the transfer to our order processors, such as our IT support. The data will be processed exclusively within the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Whenever we collect personal data and you actively provide us with your data, we will explicitly inform you of the purpose. We collect, use and manage your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR only if it is a legal obligation, to fulfill a contract or for pre-contractual measures, if we have a legitimate interest (direct marketing and security protection of the website), or if we have your consent. We only store your data for as long as we are legally obliged to do so or we need the data for the stated purpose.

For what purposes does Bühnen Graz process your personal information?
We process your personal information in order to operate, provide and improve the Bühnen Graz services that we offer to our customers. These purposes include:

  • Purchase and delivery of products and services: We use your personal information to take and fulfill orders, deliver products and services, and communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers.
  • Recommendations and personalization: We process your personal information to recommend features, products and services that may be of interest to you, to determine your preferences and to personalize your experience with Bühnen Graz.
  • We use information such as your interactions with Bühnen Graz websites, content or services to serve interest-based ads for features, products and services that may be of interest to you. We do not use information that personally identifies you to display interest-based advertising.
  • Purposes for which we obtain your consent: We may ask for your consent to process your personal information for a specific purpose, which we will notify to you. If you consent to the processing of your personal information for a specific purpose, you may freely withdraw your consent at any time and we will stop processing your information for that purpose.

Automatic information
Examples of information we collect and analyze include

  • The Internet Protocol (IP) address that connects your computer and other devices to the Internet;
  • Logins, e-mail addresses, passwords,
  • Information about computers, devices and connections such as device applications, browser types and versions, browser plug-in types and versions, operating systems and time zone settings;
  • The location of your device or computer;

The complete Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our website, i.e. the sequence of pages of our website that you visit, including date and time, cookie number, the products and/or content that you viewed or searched for, including the time it took to load a web page, information on interaction between pages (e.g. scrolling, clicks, mouse-overs).

Cookies
In order to make our website user-friendly and to enable the use of certain (also security-relevant) functions, we use cookies in some areas. “Cookies” are small files that are stored locally on your data carrier and that save certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. Most of the cookies we use are session cookies and are deleted from your hard disk after you close your browser. The long-term cookies remain stored on your hard disk. When you visit us again, they automatically recognize that you have already visited us and which entries and settings you prefer. Your browser allows you to restrict the use of cookies; they can also be deleted there. However, we would like to point out that the use of the website and the ordering of products is only possible without restrictions if cookies are activated. This website complies with the directive (§96.Abs.3.TKG.05) on user information on the use of cookies and the current GDPR directive.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link(http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). As the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymized as far as this is possible when used by Google Analytics. The user data is stored for a period of one year + 180 days.

You can find more information on this at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de or at http://www.google.com/policies/ (general information on Google Analytics and data protection). We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Facebook
Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) and the single sign-on procedure “Facebook Connect” of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins. When you visit a website on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out your IP address and store it. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy, can be found in Facebook’s data protection information: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and link it to your member data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the “Facebook Blocker”.

Individual product recommendations by email
In connection with our services, we present you with information and offers from Bühnen Graz based on your interests. You will receive these individual product recommendations from us regardless of whether you have subscribed to a newsletter. For the selection of individual product recommendations, we primarily use your previous purchase data and prospective customer data in accordance with the statutory provisions, from which we derive your product interests, taking into account your interests and preferences and profile data communicated to us.

If you do not wish to receive individual product recommendations from us by e-mail, you can informally object to this at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates (e.g. Internet connection costs, postage), e.g. by e-mail to datenschutz@buehnen-graz.com. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every e-mail.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)
This website uses the “Google Tag Manger” tool, which makes website tags manageable via an interface. This means that other services such as Google Analytics can be integrated and managed more easily. However, the tool itself does not store any cookies or personal data. You can find more information at https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html

Hotjar
In order to better understand our users, improve our online offering and optimize our marketing measures, we use the web analysis service Hotjar. This service records the movement of the mouse on the website (which links were clicked, how far was scrolled, how much time was spent on the website, etc.) in order to understand the user’s experience.

This service is offered by the European company Hotjar Ltd. based in Malta (Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julians Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians STJ 1000, Malta, Europe, Tel.: +1 (855) 464-6788). The protection of your data is particularly important to us, which is why only the following data is stored: which buttons are clicked, the mouse history, how far you scroll, the screen size of the device, device type and browser information, geographical location (country only) and the preferred language for displaying our website. Areas of the websites in which personal data about you or third parties are displayed are automatically hidden by Hotjar and are therefore not traceable at any time. IP addresses are only stored and processed anonymously so that we cannot directly identify a person.

Hotjar uses various third-party services such as Google Analytics and Optimizely. It can therefore not be ruled out that these services collect data that is transmitted by your browser as part of web page requests, such as cookies or your IP address. In these cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of the consent you have given for the purpose of statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

You can prevent the use of Hotjar at any time by using a “Do Not Track header”. To do this, you must activate the setting in your browser (all current versions of standard browsers support this). Your browser will then send a request to Hotjar to deactivate the tracking of the respective user. If you use several different browsers, you must make this setting for each individual browser. Another way to object or opt out is to go to https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out and click on Deactivate Hotjar. The privacy policy and further information can be found at https://www.hotjar.com/privacy.

Twitter
There is a link to Twitter in our footer. These links will take you to the corresponding pages of Twitter Inc, 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103 U.S.A. The controller for data processing for persons living outside the United States is Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland. This link is recognizable as a small bird symbol. If you are logged in to your Twitter account, you can link the content of our site to your profile by clicking on the corresponding link. The browser will then establish a direct connection to the Twitter servers and you will be redirected to this page. Further information on this can be found in Twitter’s privacy policy https://twitter.com/de/privacy. We would like to point out that this is not a social media plugin or button and that we therefore do not transmit any personal data to these pages.

Chatbot
When you use our chatbot, the conversation is saved for the purpose of quality assurance and improving the chatbot.
Personal data such as IP addresses, names etc. are not saved or referenced. A reference to the user’s fingerprint (pseudonymization of users to optimize the online presence) is stored, but this does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the individual person per se.

Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation guarantees you as the data subject the right to information, correction and deletion of your personal data, as well as the restriction of processing and the provision of your personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. You can revoke any consent you have given, for example when subscribing to the newsletter, at any time by email. Your data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation or a particularly legitimate interest to the contrary. If you have any questions about these rights or any other questions, please contact Mr. Mark Wibner at datenschutz@buehnen-graz.com.

Right of objection
A special right of the General Data Protection Regulation is the possibility to contact the data protection authority(www.dsb.gv.at, telephone: +43 1 531 15-202525, e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at) at any time with a complaint if you believe that your data is not being processed in accordance with data protection regulations. We would of course be pleased if you would contact us first, as we are sure that we can clarify your questions in advance.

The protection of your data
The security of your data is very important to us. All personal data requested by us is transmitted in encrypted form via a secure SSL connection so that it is protected against unauthorized access. In addition, we take further technical and organizational security precautions to prevent the loss, destruction and misuse of data. You should always treat your access information confidentially and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share the computer with others. The personal data and information you provide will be protected with the greatest possible care against unauthorized access by third parties. We will take all reasonable measures to ensure the security of personal data. However, the customer is advised that the World Wide Web is accessible to everyone worldwide and that misuse in particular cannot be ruled out, so that unauthorized access by third parties to such data and information cannot be ruled out despite the greatest possible care.

Note
This privacy policy may be amended from time to time. The amended version will then also be published here. When you visit our website again, you should therefore read the data protection information again.
