“Jardin des Planètes” – an artistic intervention by Klaus Littmann
In the Jardin des Planètes – garden of the planets – imaginative planets designed by artists rise into the sky, creating a universe in the Palace that is both man-made and artistic. Here, visitors stroll amongst trees and planets as if they were in a far-off galaxy, and at the same time experience a contemporary outdoor interpretation of the palace’s magnificent Planetary Room.

“PLANTEN BALLETTEN – AUS BAUSSPIEL FEST ROCKENEM” by Max Höfler and Nikos Zachariadis
Graz multimedia artist Nikos Zachariadis works with writer Max Höfler on texts from the nine-part baroque ballet of the planets from 1678. The sound installation’s new, abstract version of the planetary texts accompany visitors round the Jardin des Planètes set in motion by Klaus Littmann. The interplay of this light and sound intervention invites viewers to see, comprehend and reconsider their own position and the role of humanity in a wider context.
